Reflection PR supports hotel relaunch in Croatia

in Leisure and tourism, News

We’ve been hard at work on a PR campaign for Croatia’s leading hotel operator, including promotion of the newly relaunched 4*+ Valamar Argosy Dubrovnik.

We’ve been working closely with Valamar Riviera, based in sunny Croatia, on the relaunch of one of their star properties on the beautiful Adriatic coast just outside Dubrovnik.

Alongside draft and sell-in of a press release detailing the upgrades and new additions at the 4*+ Valamar Argosy Dubrovnik to specialist travel media, we’ve also put together several trips for senior journalists and digital influencers over the coming months, During these visits, we’ll be highlighting the hotel’s luxurious accommodation and facilities, as well as its beautiful setting. Participants will enjoy a packed itinerary including visits to local attractions and fine dining at restaurants specialising in Croatian cuisine.

The Valamar Argosy Hotel reopened this Easter following extensive renovations and expansion of the property based 15 minutes from Dubrovnik Old Town. Situated amongst the natural beauty of the Babin Kuk peninsula, surrounded by unspoilt pine forests and minutes from a sun-bleached pebble beach, the Valamar Argosy Hotel offers a taste of paradise, just two and a half hours flying time from the UK.

Extensive and thoughtful refurbishment has taken place in preparation for the 2018 holiday season, adding brand new facilities as well as renovating 308 bedrooms and other amenities. The flagship addition is an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the Adriatic Sea, where guests can relax in style and enjoy uninterrupted views of the Elaphiti Islands – sure to be especially popular at sunset. The new pool adds a further option to other pools in the hotel, including a second infinity pool, and a heated indoor freshwater pool. Surrounded by spacious sun decks and relaxation areas, guests may not feel the need to hit the beach, but should you choose to do so, the hotel is within a few minutes’ walk of three options: blue flag beaches Cava and Valamar Dubrovnik President, and Croatia’s first art-friendly beach, the Copacabana.

Marin Gulan, director of Sales, Marketing and Revenue Management for the Dubrovnik region at Valamar Riviera says: “Over 135,000 tourists from the UK visited Dubrovnik in 2017 which is a 28% increase on the previous year, and we believe that the high standard of accommodation and service at the Valamar Argosy Hotel can only help to improve the visitor experience. The significant investment that we have made in renovating the Valamar Argosy combined with its beautiful, peaceful setting make it an ideal choice for those looking for a relaxing and romantic getaway. ”

And if you fancy a sunshine break to see it for yourself, visit Valamar’s website to find out more!
