Core Fitness, a new breed of ‘feel-good’ gyms has launched in Norwich offering the latest boutique trend with smaller classes, high energy playlists and a nightclub feel.
Based in The Union Building on Rose Lane, Core Fitness offers flexible memberships, energy-boosting classes and full cardio and resistance workouts – all under disco lights and the watchful eye of a friendly team of Personal Trainers.
Core Kitchen juice bar provides post-workout protein shakes, plus complimentary coffee and chilled towels are available for members adding to the lifestyle experience Owner Sam Bird hopes to create.
After seven years as a personal trainer, working with a number of celebrities in London including Made In Chelsea’s star Toff, Sam has launched Core Fitness to meet the UK’s trend of boutique gyms.
He adds: “I have always wanted to open up my own gym and bring something different to Norwich.
Gyms have changed a lot; people used to sign up to long contracts but then not use their membership or be scared of using the equipment. We’re hoping to change that by offering flexible contracts and a fun and immersive experience that helps people conveniently incorporate fitness into their lifestyle.”
Pay as you go classes cost £5.00 per session with two classes currently including:
- Fight Club – Mondays – 7.30pm – 8.15pm
- Bootcamp – Thursdays – 7.30pm – 8.15pm
Yoga classes are launching shortly.
- Free access to all classes
- Complimentary chilled towels and coffee
- 10% off personal training
All Union Building workers receive 10% off membership.
Social nights are also being set up including a ladies’ fitness wear catwalk show.
Sam adds; “We want to help people get the absolute most out of their gym membership and get fitter and stronger whilst having a good time in a fun environment.”
