Agency wins two UK Digital Experience Awards

in Awards, News

Norwich based digital agency, GRIT Digital has scooped two national awards at the prestigious UK Digital Experience Awards at Wembley Stadium, including an accolade for Best Overall Digital Experience.

The UK Digital Experience Awards is one of the most important events in the calendar for customer experience and digital professionals across the UK. Competing against international brands including Virgin Money, Three UK and Sage, GRIT Digital won the ‘Not for Profit’ category and was also crowned the overall winner across all 20 categories for their work on behalf of the Association of Independent Museums (AIM).

GRIT Digital transformed the national charity’s website, improving usability to help heritage organisations find vital resources including grant applications during a time of austerity. And their work has resulted in a significant increase in new associate member signups and boosting AIM’s core funding.

Founded in 2010 by Managing Director Peter Whitmore, GRIT Digital creates websites and apps which provide an exceptional user-experience and deliver substantial return on investment.

Peter says: “We are a small team of 11 so I am incredibly proud that our work has been recognised amongst household names and some of the UK’s leading agencies. It proves you don’t need to be based in London to provide award-winning digital expertise.

Being named as the overall winner was an extremely proud moment for our team and one we won’t forget.”

Sassy Hicks, Marketing Manager for the Association of Independent Museums adds: “The new website means we can provide members with a much more user-friendly online experience. We are delighted that GRIT Digital’s work in bringing our vision to life has resulted in two national awards”.
