Innovative IT system receives national recognition
in Awards
A unique IT system which has helped the social housing sector save thousands of pounds, has been shortlisted for a prestigious national housing award.
Manifest Software Solutions developed an innovative IT system – the Universal Adapter – in recognition of the need for the social housing sector to save more time and money.
The integrated IT system has now been shortlisted for the ‘Most Innovative IT System’ category in the national Housing Innovation Awards.
Manifest Software Solutions found that social housing associations were frustrated by complicated traditional IT interfaces and so launched the Universal Adaptor in January 2016.
The Universal Adapter reduces the need for multiple applications, minimises the time for manual entry and improves customer service in the housing sector. Highlights include increasing the volume of calls processed in one call centre by 150% and substantially increasing the number of resident surveys completed from 10% to over 85%.
Extracting data accurately into one manageable hub, the Universal Adapter is the only technology of its kind to manipulate, validate and automatically input information into customer’s housing management or CRM systems. This innovation means that customer facing data can be acted upon without the need for timely intervention.
Over the past year, Manifest Software Solutions has worked alongside 10 social housing clients and has seen savings of more than £60,000 for two of those organisations.
Dave Carr, Director of Manifest Software Solutions says:
“We are delighted that our initiative has been recognised amongst such strong competition. The application of the Universal Adapter has surpassed our expectations with customers reporting even greater efficiency which has in turn has bolstered business operations”.
Housing Innovation Awards Event Organiser, Joe Broun says they received more applications than ever before in the technology category:
“The Housing Innovation Awards celebrate everything innovative in the UK housing sector and continue to provide well-earned recognition to housing professionals and organisations that are actively evolving to meet a challenging industry. The ceremony attracts 450 of the industry’s most innovative leaders & trailblazers.”
The awards ceremony takes place at The Grand Connaught Rooms in London on the 8th February 2017.
